Coram AI

AI-Powered Video Security That Works With Your Existing Infrastructure — No VMS Rip-and-Replace Required

Coram AI replaces legacy video management systems with a cloud-managed AI platform built for physical security teams. It runs on existing cameras, integrates with turnstile and access-control hardware, and delivers real-time analytics — visitor detection, tailgating alerts, and access event correlation — without a six-figure VMS deployment. TurnstileOPS sources and installs Coram AI as part of complete turnstile and security entrance projects.

  • Cloud-managed AI video security: person detection, tailgating alerts, and access-event correlation without on-premise servers or legacy VMS licensing
  • Works with existing camera infrastructure — pair with new Alvarado or Boon Edam lane installations for a complete physical-security upgrade in one engagement
  • Sold and deployed alongside TurnstileOPS turnstile projects — one source for entrance hardware, video analytics, and installation

About Coram AI

Founded in 2022, Coram AI delivers an enterprise-grade platform that connects IP cameras, door readers, and AI analytics to detect and respond to threats such as tailgating, forced-entry, and unauthorized access in real time. The platform works with existing camera infrastructure and is trusted by clients ranging from schools and healthcare facilities to retail, manufacturing, and Fortune 500 companies, replacing fragmented point solutions with a unified pane of glass for physical security operations. Coram AI is deployed alongside TurnstileOPS turnstile and entrance-control projects as the AI video layer for complete security programs.

Heritage

Coram AI was co-founded by Ashesh Jain (CEO — Cornell CS PhD, former Head of Autonomy at Lyft's self-driving division) and Peter Ondruska (CTO — Oxford robotics PhD, former Head of AI Research at Lyft). The founders applied sensor-fusion and computer-vision techniques from autonomous vehicle development to the physical security market, launching Coram AI in Sunnyvale in 2022. The company has raised approximately $58 million in total venture funding, including a January 2025 Series A led by Battery Ventures and a $35 million Series B in June 2026.

Manufacturing

Coram AI is a software-and-cloud company and does not manufacture cameras or hardware. The platform integrates with third-party IP cameras and access-control hardware already installed at customer sites, delivering AI capabilities through cloud and edge compute rather than proprietary devices. This hardware-agnostic model makes Coram AI pairable with any turnstile or entrance-control installation.
